Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate plays an important role in supporting RPS’s ability to deliver materials, products, and services to customers accurately and efficiently. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials from vendors, stocking inventory, picking and preparing customer orders for will call or delivery, supporting shipment activities, and assisting with cycle counts and other inventory management practices.

 

This is an onsite daily position in Waller, TX

 

Responsibilities:

  • Pull pick tickets and accurately pick products to fulfill customer orders
  • Prepare customer orders for shipment, delivery, or will call pickup
  • Load and unload supplier trucks, customer orders, and other warehouse materials as needed
  • Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming products to replenish inventory
  • Support cycle counting and inventory management practices to help maintain accurate stock levels
  • Understand and follow material handling and storage requirements, including the proper handling of large or bulky components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, including assigned work areas and outside areas
  • Follow established safety practices and proactively support a safe workplace
  • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and internal partners to support accurate and timely warehouse operations
  • Provide customer-service-focused support by helping ensure orders are prepared accurately and materials are available when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support successful operations and business continuity

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to supporting internal and external customer needs
  • Experience operating forklifts
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to safely handle materials and maintain an organized, safety-focused work environment
  • Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new processes and systems
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, climb, and perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the workday
  • Ability to see, hear, speak, and communicate clearly
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in warehouse and outside areas
